it’s been too long since i last posted, and prolly for the best.  but i couldnt resist putting up a few links for posterity’s sake.

it’s late, and there’s not much time, but here we go.

PROPS TO PROP 8.

even though i dont care about other people, it was fun to see the contrast of the types of ads put out by the opposing sides in the prop 8 debate. i watched a “no” ad, which was a spoof/homage to the “im a mac, im a pc” ads.  it was half funny. but, jesus, this ad for the ‘yes’ side is fuckin creepy.  its all children swingin and sitting on couches and whispering for help.  of course, for all we know they may be being held hostage somewhere deep inside the homo kingdom. but, i seriously doubt that.

i remember first falling in love with graffiti in 1978 on a trip out to the bronx with some coworkers from the abortion clinic/car wash i worked at. although graf has an ancient history, the late 70s was the time that defined the art for me. a lot of people cling to the mid-80s golden age, but in every way its gone steadily downhill ever since. now it sucks. finally, theres something that shouldve replaced graffiti a long time ago. word.
