I’ll consider believing it when I find another source other than jesus-is-savior.com. I find it hard to believe when this is the ONLY source I could find on google. All roads lead back to this website. If you look closely, their only source is wikipedia.
As most people know, wikipedia is not the most reliable source as anyone can upload anything. There are many true things on wikipedia, but it also has plenty of false information.
If the only source is using wikipedia as their main source, this may not be a provable fact. It is only a rumor as far as I can see. I say we let Helen Keller rest in peace and let God judge her as he sees fit. There are people who are still living who are doing the same things that you are accusing Keller of doing; instead of messing up her reputation, try ministering to people who are still alive… you can still help them; it is to late for Keller, but there are others for whom it is not.

The letter “I” is made by holding up the pinky finger, the letter “L” is made by holding out the pointer finger and the thumb in an L shape, and the letter “Y” is made by holding out the thumb and pinky, resembling a Y. These three letters are the initials for the words, “I love you”… The “I love you” sign is simply holding up all of the fingers used for the three letters.
I am not an expert in American Sign Language, but I do know a fair amount about the language. Initialized signs are quite common, I am fairly confident that, regardless of Helen Keller’s personal religious habits, this sign has nothing to do with the devil sign. It is simply one of many signs that incorporate letters from the ASL alphabet.
